When asked exactly how Wizards of the Coast came to choose the games that would be included in the crossover (I'm slightly disappointed Final Fantasy 9 didn't make the cut), Holt explained that Final Fantasy 7 and 14 were the clear picks due to their popularity, but that Final Fantasy 6 and 10 were chosen partially due to how many fans of those games were among the Wizards of the Coast team
