He studied at The Danish School of Arts and Crafts (1936-1938) under Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen before going on to work as a designer in Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller’s noted architectural office

Irwin was designed by Paul McCobb in 1956 for CALVIN FURNITURE (1953 1973) of Grand Rapids, Mich. As with many pieces produced with this base style, slight bends are expectedwith no effect on structural integrity. This piece is in excellent vintage condition and is ready to place. PAUL
